There are a lot of Guzzi riders that can't let go of the past either.   This IS a big part of the appeal for many here.

When it is a piece of furniture.

It's used regularly. That picture was taken testing out the new bike lift. It's not a piece of furniture, but it is extremely clean,!

What I hate, are the crome muflers. The design was so balanced with red and black. Putting on some chome pieces, tells me he didn't get the design.

This was mine, in 1980, picture is of that time. It had a hard life.
Making the wheels gold was doen before I bought it, and in that time it looked a bit like you had the magnesium wheels, the real thing.

I'd have gone with black too, but hey, if everybody had the same tastes, the world would be a boring place. ☺

I like yours with the gold wheels Paul!

This is what happens when airhead BMW riders infiltrate  what used to be a wholly Moto Guzzi forum because they no longer accept the direction their beloved BMW factory has gone for now on.  If they could they would still ride new airhead BMWs but it's no longer possible.   So they are forced to come here with no other options.  But at the same time they can't let go of their real feelings.  :'(

Profoundly true! 8)

I like my '79 Le Mans and that's about it.  ( I did flirt with the idea of a R100RS for a time, but that was until I saw the Cycle Mag cover featuring the CX100. )
