Knowing exactly where you are is cool, but most of the time I just want to know about where I am.
Don't even have to have a map for that, but I do carry them.
Still don't have a GPS...

Well, I did it to myself, I suppose ... Karma Khamil is probably laughing at me.
Can't even use my landline today, first time I ever remember - it's buzzing and has some sort of interference on it, can't even hear on it. I plugged in to the little outside box and it's the phone company, not my house wiring.
Oh, well, Fay's problem now to get it fixed - I'm on the road for New Hampshire at sun-up, won't need any phones for a week or so .... ah, freedom ....

A friend, Penny, got into an argument with Siri one night around the fire at the New York rally. It was not finding what she was asking for. She finally told Siri she hated her and the reply was "I'm doing the best I can........PENNY!" then shut her phone down. It was funny but also maybe a little prophetic. (Think the premise of Alan Parsons album I Robot. A story of the rise of machine and the fall of man.)

Yep, that voice interface on the Android and iPhone is a joke. Just more BS piled on and advertised to make you think you are getting something that you really are not. Apple's advertising campaign was typical for such a useless feature.
And, yes, my phone is used as much for entertainment than anything else.

Searching for answers to difficult questions?
Err, I dont really understand the answers!
Help me out here.
My phone AI should be able to know me well enough and dumb down those complicated answers to my level .....
Way Down!
