exhaust cross tube
« on: May 29, 2015, 03:48:22 PM »
2012 V7C, is there any real benefit to replace the cross tube(has the oxygen sensor) with a Mistral or equal? Will it run any better, smoother, better fuel mileage, what? I would not mind putting out the money and work if it really has some positive benefits, also is there any bad things about changing it I need to know?

The only real benefit is you can access the transmission drain plug. I have a NIB Mistral crossover I'll sell you for $60 shipped in the lower 48.

I ended up with two because my 1st one cracked at a weld. While waiting for the warranty replacement to arrive I took the original one to work and had one of my employees weld it. Put it back on and have been running it since then. The replacement arrived and I put it the parts archive.
