Very informative video, only six minutes long but it explains all the electronic controls and shows what the bike does with the systems off and on.
That wet skid pad must have been greased tiles or something - those bikes were doing 180s like on ice!

That wet skid pad must have been greased tiles or something
They are called Basalt tiles. Dry they don't do much but get them wet and like you say ICE! All the proving grounds use them for their traction testing and skid pads.

And to think I learned how to avoid/prevent/cope with all that stuff when all I needed was a 'puter on me bike!
Seriously, I like the mid-turn problem = hospital avoidance system the most. Those panic-brake-slide-catch-highside accidents are BAD.
And I like the ABS on the Norge. Keeps that back wheel in play, only had the front ABS kick in once on painted intersection markings. Nice.
