Can I steal some of your power, Shorty?
The power to levitate belongs to myself and Bacardi alone. If you seek mere electricity, certainly.

Months to plan Edmond not that far away. We can draw a map and I will guarantee you will not go hungry. What's keeping you away?

From oldbike54: :thumb: I was pleasantly amazed. Great riding and motels and cafes are very reasonable if you don't camp.

No idea on trailer sites John . Contact Mary before noon at 918 567 2052 . If anyone needs a spot for a trailer or a tent give her a call . As always we reserved the pavilion .

Doug and I have been discussing the T-shirt thing , we were thinking an "in memory of" shirt , with a list of some of our family that have left us recently . Dan Wolfe , EV Bill , Uncle Calvin , David Kasitz , and of course JN . We need to order at least 15 to get a price break , thinking all pocket T's , done by deposit like in the past . Is there enough interest to make this happen ? I know Wes Stephens wants one .

Turns out this is the 17th annual Okie , only missed a couple along the way . The park has gone thru some changes , and is in better hands now .

Anyone know where Conrad from Germany is these days , or if Noel is still around ? We've had a couple of Ozzies , in attendance , sadly one of them has passed , maybe we can add his name to the shirts . Kirby has ridden in from California and Bill L has attended on his way back to Seattle .
Chuck H made it from Indiana , two of our intrepid Ohio friends have made the trip , and fubar , well , he doesn't have to come that far , but he normally has the greatest adventure .

So who gets the long distance and hard luck attaboys this year ? If you have never been to the Ouchita mountains , they are motorbike heaven , the best riding anywhere .

OK , we were thinking maybe a lighter color anyway , black is so 1980

We need to pre-sell at least 12 to make them economically viable .

there are still camp spots left at Talimena.

there is also a spectacular campground at Cedar Lake about 20 miles away on the north side of the skyway.

The cutoff date for ordering T-shirts is Sept 10 , we do need to pre-sell at least 12 to make them economically viable . So far we have sold 3 , so if you want one of these collectors items let me know.

 Thanks

I'd take a large shirt. Another name you might consider is Van Bartlett.

Van was one of those that actually started the Okie campout.  Him, JN and David Massey used to meet up there for the weekend waaaaaay back in the day and it slowly grew into what it is today. JN would bring the firewood, David would bring the whisky and Van would bring the food. Van was a great friend to many and all around great guy. In fact, after his passing, the okie campout was going to be called the "Van Bartlett Memorial Campout", but the idea faded out for some reason.
