You only need the parachute if you plan on skydiving more than once.

Quote from Pandemic:

I haven't had a swim in long time! Along with many others I saw the "JAWS" movie when it first came out.

Not many people went to the beaches that summer!

That summer I was living in an apartment that was next door to a theater. The only time any sound would bleed through the wall was at high volume moments and only in the bathroom. A couple of times I was sitting on the pot when that sound they played right before the big shark attacks came through. Made me rise off the seat and take a careful look between the legs.

Don't worry to much about the crocs its the damn sharks that are biting we have had 6 Deaths in the last 12 months and 2 of those have been less than 1 hour south from where I live.
I think I'm staying out of the ocean from now on. :food:

Has to do with the ocean temp.  Warmer temp. brings in sharks closer to land.  Same thing happens on the West coast.  It's that simple. But if the talking heads told you that you wouldn't spend hours listening to them.   :thewife:

Hey! Shouldn't they make surf boards with shark repellent or knock out chemicals built right in the outer layers? Surf suits too!

That board is just a soda cracker to a shark.

Just listening to the AP radio news on the way to get a sixer.

Some dumbschmidt at a 4th of July party thought it would be "cool" to set a mortar round off the top of his head.

Killed instantly :undecided:

Yup, bothstorieswere on our news this morning. My mistake on the 'gator story. I thought the Darwin reference was related to the town in Australia's Nortohern Territory rather than the Biologist and natural selection.

Made the exact same mistake myself. Thought the Americans were confusing our crocs and their 'gators. Seems the "language barrier" got in my way

On a slightly different note, I can't help wondering what that poor Texan was taking, to make him jump :undecided: and will the 'gator need some kind of medical treatment to counteract the poison?

The gator that killed this idiot weighed 400+ pounds.  A group of vigilantes killed the gator and now they're in trouble with the authorities.  Story here:  http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3151752/Alligator-fatally-shot-head-killing-Texas-man-jumped-marina-week.html
