ship bike to san diego, what shippers will hold it until I arrive?

title says it all. I want to take an extended vacation in the southwest, and want to ship my california vintage to san diego. finding shippers is no problem. I like to find one that will hold the bike in their warehouse until I arrive.

What say ye?

I say you can ship it to my work, I'll uncrate it and it can sleep in my covered parking at home with my Bassa until you get here.

I promise not to put much more than, oh...(calculates commute, occasional weekend spin) a thousand miles a month on it.

Since I bounced this off the front page it's only fair that I bounce it back again. [mtiberio] was understandably not entirely comfortable with my putting thousands of miles on his bike, just as I would have not been with somebody else doing that with mine.

So if anybody has suggestions please help him out.

I am north of SD about 1 hr drive. If you want to ship to me I will keep it in my locked garage. When are your travel dates.

I have some garage space as well after having sold my CalVin. If you'd like to ship it a bit out of your way to the LA area I'd hold it for you.
