MG V7 on Let's Make a Deal
« on: July 24, 2015, 02:28:04 PM »
Looked up from the "seated row" machine and saw a V7II given away as a prize. I guess Guzzi are mainstream now.

Is Monte Hall still around? I'll take the curtain.

I was steaming Rubber Soul at the time so I didn't catch the audio, but when the guy won it he rushed on stage sat on it.  He had a huge smile on his face.  He might not have known Guzzi but he sure was pleased.
I think the V7s are breathing new life into the Margue.

No Monte.

They've been doing that on and off on "the price is right" for about 5 years or so. I think a CA dealer donates the bikes.

Ken

I used to be Dave at Sherman Oaks Vespa who was working that deal.  Don't know if he still is or not as I wouldn't send anyone except my ex-wife to his shop.

YMMV
