Quota plug colour

Had my Quota down to a MG shop to replace a rear seal. While there, they also had a look at the fuel trim. The bike was running hot. The trim was indicating +55, so they adjusted it to +10. The mechanic felt that there might be something wrong with the fuel map as he was unable to fix the stumble at lower rpm no matter what he did. He also suggested I might want to do a leak down test etc once I got home as there might be a mechanical problem that was causing the stumble.  The drive home was 5.5 hours at relatively high speeds of 120 kph, and 3500 to 4100rpm. Ambient temps were around 25 degrees C.
I pulled the plugs when I got home and the bike had cooled down. Both plugs were pretty scary, the right more than the left. It appears that there are shiny silver coloured deposits on the electrode as well as the insulator. Does this look like I am in the process of blowing a hole through the piston? I've posted a couple of photos, hope they come through.

 No pics , but silver deposits on a plug is not a good sign . Probably aluminum .

Dusty, yes I agree it looks like Al, maybe from the piston. I managed to get the pictures posted. Not sure where to go from here. Bloody trim, maps etc on EFI baffle me. I have been fighting with getting this Q running right since I bought it two years ago. If there is internal mechanical damage now to the engine there is no point in repairing it unless I can figure out what the H** is going on with the EFI and mapping.

If there's internal damage to the engine, you'll need to fix that before you can build a proper map.
Also, if the bike is running hot, we could assume it's running lean, and decreasing the trim from +55 to +10 will make it run more lean.
