Wheel Bearings
« on: August 13, 2015, 07:52:28 AM »
I was just doing a bit of maintenance on the Centauro when I noticed the rear left wheel bearing is toast. Not even 3000km. It's a FAG 6204-2RS1. I've used multiple of this type before on both my bikes without issue and even in heavy winter riding.
So, I started checking my local suppliers and I decided to look into the mechanics of it all.
Seems the XXXX-RSH is the way to go for keeping in the goodies and repelling the nasties
See attached SKF table with some excellent imagery and simple description of what works best for certain variables :thumb:
