Weeping fuel filler (Stelvio)?
« on: August 27, 2015, 02:08:31 PM »
The fuel filler cap/assembly on my '13 Stelvio weeps a little fuel after fill-up.  This didn't happen before I installed a Wolfman Rainier tankbag.  I'm guessing there's a vent issue, or maybe the pressure of the bag causes something to unseal.  Anyone else have this problem?

Did you lift the tank to attach the mounting straps?  Maybe pinched a vent line when reinstalling the tank?  Or, is a strap wrapped around a vent line?  It sounds like the filler neck is not draining like it was.

Maybe an unrelated issue with the canister?

Didn't think about the canister.  I didn't move the tank and was careful about the front straps but will double-check.  Thanks, Tom.
