Some may have noticed fewer posts from me over the past week and a half. I've been checking in as possible, checking on the forum, but haven't been able to post much.
Labor Day weekend is the end of our horse show season, with the State Championship Horse Show. It's a busy weekend, and a chance to compete against the best horses in the State. I spent Sept 3 to Sept 6 in Little Rock at the show. My class, Light Shod Slow Gaited Western Pleasure, had about 55 horses this year. I've been riding a pretty good horse, a Spotted Saddle Horse (related to Tennessee Walking Horses), and made it to the 1st semi-final. Unfortunately, the judges didn't pick me for the final, but it was a good ride.

Drove home on Sept 7, then headed out for Red River New Mexico on Sept 8. No horses or motorcycles this trip. Just a few days in the mountains to escape the heat and humidty we've been experiencing in Arkansas. It was nice weather, and nice to have limited internet and phone for a few days.

After a week and a half, and 2,000 miles gone, being back at work in the cube feels a little strange.
It did feel good to swing a leg over the V7 Special for the commute to work this morning. The Agostinis are glorious!
