Someone has to keep the grass from growing down the median - might as well be me. :thumb:

I fantasize about riding on roads like that. Florida can be a bit monotone. I don't usually listen to music when I ride but I think "ombra mai fu" would be appropriate.

Inspiring! Thanks Nick.

It's spring here now, just got to get out more, where the road is redder, & the greens are greyer, but the peace is just as sublime.

Are those red roads as slick as our red roads when it is raining ?

Is it just a matter of perspective or is that an unusually wide tread tire on the rear? Most of the intended use of my Crud-Orado will be forest service and state unpaved roads here 'bouts and your tire looks the business for that.

Slicker! A little rain settles the dust, a little more turns it to soft glue. This coats the wheels until scraped off by the mudguard & swingarm, gets into the brake  calipers so no brakes. Only got a kilometer  once we hit the plain & turned back. At least the creek crossings & the riverbeds cleaned some of that stuff off, so we made it back out of there. An interesting experience.

It's an optical illusion Todd.  The rear tyre is just a standard 4x18 Dunlop K70.  I find that they work really well under most circumstances and give me plenty of feel and grip on unpaved roads.

But - I'm not usually travelling at light speed either.
