I think it is likely due to the chain tension er not being pressurized. You should only rotate the crank clockwise ,especially with a slack timing chain. I was surprised at how long it actually took for the tension pistons to re pressurize after start up. It takes a minute or so before the chains quite down. Try turning the crank a full couple of rotations clockwise only, and see if the clicking stops. dave
I saw your pics on the other thread and like mine I'd say you got in there just in time, good call. Make sure to use the smaller gaps of 4 and 6 thous. Good luck dave
