The bezel around the headlight looks amazingly similar to the ones on my old Dodge van.  I bet the fairing manufacturer used available automotive parts for the headlight mount, which is a smart thing to do.  I wonder what chipped the paint on the left side of the fairing.

David kasitz the former Kansas state rep had one of those on a old bike. Always thought it was pretty cool in a odd funky way.

Same setup on page 50 of "Moto Guzzi Big Twins". IIRC, it was made by DB.

+1 that it's a DB -- went with the big bags back in the day.

I like frame mounted fairings, but that one is a bit much for even me.

They must have their own wing at your shop, I bet they take up a bit of room. BTW, I have a set of those DB bags for sale!!!!

It's so odd to me that the fairing can be so damn odd and yet so cool at the same time. What a complimentary match-up.

Just today, a business associate of ours met my wife and I at a thing. To date, she had not met me personally, developed some mental images and upon todays meeting - declared us a "darling couple".

Juxtaposing, I know how the fairing must feel on the El Dorado!

HEAVY!!. I had one that I shipped to New York. I think the weight was 45 lbs. One model had the dual headlights. Lots of them in the late 70's.
