We used to have a wonderful saying. Is your bike for sale or do you want to sell your bike?Nice bikes do sell. But at fair prices. A spectacular 1000S just sold on Ebay for $7200.Plus winter is coming. So be patient.Mhttp://www.ebay.com/itm/1979-Moto-Guzzi-SP-1000-/191643064571?forcerrptr=true&hash=item2c9ed118fb&item=191643064571&nma=true&si=qF%252Fyw0xtmAFMdjLvvB73beP%252B3Xs%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
I contacted seller. Seller would not tell me a price for the 1000S. I offered $15,000.00. I was told these bikes are not for me... Seems he has had offers above that...
Watched an episode of American Pickers last week where they found a 1920 something Auburn 634 and the owner wanted 80k for it unrestored. Once he found out restored examples only sell for 35k he changed his tune.
Notice how he organized the pics with the best ones first and ending with.....I don't know if that is a real bike or he just used that frame to store miscellaneous parts on. That is one ugly turd.
I asked about the projects....(I'm cheap)...$4K each....end of discussion.
