Face Book Moto Guzzi Bikes/Parts FS Group
« on: October 26, 2015, 05:13:48 PM »
Thanks to the Moderators for pre approving this....here is the link....we'll see how it goes....

https://www.facebook.com/groups/898627433562137/

Another place where Moto Guzzi enthusiast can buy and sell their bikes and parts....this group is ONLY for Moto Guzzi related items, NOT a discussion forum...post with other content will be deleted.

Thanks to anyone with interest to join the group...however, if I don't see something in your Face Book timeline or groups you already belong to Motorcycle related ..... I won't be approving your request(seems a lot of people join groups for spam reasons)...feel free to message me if you think you should be a member of this group...

Thanks again, hopefully this will be helpful.

I resisted FB for a while, just lately started using it...I don't deal with any bullshit on it...if a group I join gets political or starts getting spammed I just cancel my membership....FB is what you make of it, just like most things.

Bump , this is a great thing for the Guzzi community .

  Dusty

I suppose.   What will it do that the WG Classifieds or the MGNOC Classifieds won't do?

Reach people who don't regularly look at WG...

Anything that promotes the brand is a good thing , and Eldo Mike is very involved in Guzzi .

Join request sent.  I joined Fb about 6 years ago.  Initially, my intent was to see what my kids were posting and then they went to other social media sites...Then I was able to reconnect with long lost friends from high school (I attended a DOD school in Japan) and army buddies that I had no seen in decades.  Once I retired from teaching and coaching I started accepting friend requests from former students and athletes.  Over the years I have just learned to ignore the political and controversial posts

I sent in a request last night, and got a confirmation message back within a couple of hours.

From looking at the Facebook page, it appears a lot of requests are quickly coming in  :thumb:

Good luck to you, Mike.  Sounds like a good idea for facebookers who like Guzzis.

Personally, I just don't care for what happens "behind the scenes" with facebook users' data and information.  For that reason, and several others, I don't use/look at facebook at all.

Good luck.
