WG logo'd merchandise
« on: October 28, 2015, 10:55:52 AM »
I recall a few years ago Luap made WG decals available at a reasonable price.  Has WG offered any merchandise with WG logo (tee's, sweatshirts, hoodies, etc) in the past, or are they available today, and I just don't know where to look on the forum?  Most of my BMW and Triumph stuff has disintegrated to the point where I use them for polishing rags!  Need some new stuff.  Anyone else?
Main ride:  2008 Guzzi 1200 Sport (sold July 2020)
2012 Griso 8v SE (sold Sept '15)
Reliable standby: 1991 BMW R100GS
2014 Honda CB1100 (Traded Nov 2019)
New:  2016 Triumph T120 (Traded Dec 2021)
New:  2021 Kawasaki W800

Luap will have to chime in.

It's been a few years since he ordered any merch.

I have a WildGuzzi sweatshirt I bought years ago which has seen a LOT of use. I would be interested in buying another or even other items like a hoody or a T-Shirt.

Maybe in a charcoal or medium gray.

I always get favorable comments on the "The Way  the "V" was Meant to Be" slogan.
Even from my Harley riding friends!

Cool , Luap is probably too busy to handle this , let me talk to my partner in crime that has the hook up and see if he is willing . He has been covered up with things the last few weeks , so be patient . Unless someone else wants to take Ohiorider's idea and run with it . Thanks for the idea Bob

Might be a good idea to have some custom transfers made and have members add to their own garments. Saves the hassle of someone buying different shirts, different sizes, different colors on and on and on...... Then shipping and collecting all the cabbage for all that. Cheaper to ship a transfer too.

I assume that some shops would let you file the image with them, then let each person buy what they want directly from them-with or without a commission to the original image owner.  I think a number of clubs do this.

Good idea. It's always fun to meet face to face with WG members. At a big rally, I'll generally wear my first edition highly collectible Mr. Nevada shirt at least once. Someone will come up and say, "So who are you on Wild Guzzi?" A conversation usually (not always) begins.
So..
Count me in. It's been several years since I bought some decals, and heaven knows I need a some more T shirts.. :boozing:
I've mentioned before that about everything I know about Guzzis has been learned here, so a few bux sent that way is cheap education as far as I'm concerned. <shrug>

While we're @ it I'd like the "the way the V was meant to be" logo on a pair of red silk boxer shorts. Shouldn't be a problem right???  Oh, in an XL please, and make sure the elastic isn't too binding
