73 v7 sport on CL
« on: November 07, 2015, 07:24:25 AM »
http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/mcy/5250443353.html

Please somebody buy it before i break the bank..... :thewife:

looks pretty well kept and stock to my untrained eyes, what do you guys think ?
yes i know it may have original chrome bores but maybe the price is "slightly" negotiable.
at 12.5 k i am not a player but seems a reasonable asking price...isn't it ?

i see it has manual petcocks , is this correct ? what year had the electric petcock ?
paint ? is it original or repainted ?

cheers

Very nice example and looks unmolested.  I noticed he has some other very interesting vintage machinery sitting in his garage...

I'd have called it a 74, tank badges and foot controls don't look like my 73, but it could just be a later production.

I'm fairly sure I've seen that bike. Unrestored original, as far as I know..

Looks very nice and correct except the missing electronic petcock, not a big deal. Will need a set of Giladorni cylinders and pistons, Very fair price, grab it before its gone.

my 73 has cable operated rear brake, the one in the craigslist is rod operated.
