New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
Pete, are these kits you had ordered or is the mother ship ensuring dealers have a couple on the shelf? Just curios.
Same rules for all bikes. They must have a full, documented, service history to receive a kit gratis. Owner pays for install if the machine is outside of its two year warranty period which most of the flat tappet models now will be. No exceptions.Pete
Is also documentation of excess wear required by Piaggio for them to supply the kit gratis?
Oh On the subject of failures it's interesting to note that I now know of three bikes that have had bottom end failures after being rollerised due to tappet failure. Mark III's, mine and a couple of days ago Ralf's Z's motor ran its big ends. Further evidence, at least to me, that it's best to get it early before further damage can occur to oil pump or bearings.Pete
That's going to cost em a lot, how does warranty work on big end failure after install by dealer with FSH ?
At least in Oz.Box dropped into the workshop yesterday with a 'C' and an 'A' in it. Got a 'D' last week. Still waiting for a second 'A' but at least I can start pushing some of the broken munters out the door!Pete
AWESOME. I'm beginning to resemble that bloke that lost his Hilux in that Toyota advertisement. Thanks Pete.Larry
Sadly Larry Norgeus Horriblis is first in the queue for an 'A' kit. you'll have to sit on your hands a while longer..... sorry.pete
