Ti exhaust installed.....left muffler leaks.

Good evening. I installed the Ti kit on the Ballabio over the weekend. The left muffler leaks a little bit of exhaust gas from the front seam where the band is riveted on. The bike does run great but should I be concerned about the leaking?

P.S. The Ti mufflers sound viscious.

I use a little copper RTV when assembling an exhaust. Makes taking it back apart a bit easier.

I recently disassembled one of those mufflers to remove some dents. The ends are sealed with a red RTV. Reminded me of high temp permatex RTV. I can see why the mufflers are so light.The shell is paper thin.Feels lighter than a empty beer can.

Oh, yeah.. they're *very* delicate.

Anti-seize was used in the joints but the leak is coming from the muffler itself. I am not suprised Apex. I was very careful while assembling everything. Lining up the muffler bands was a huge pain.

The shell is paper thin.

Anything heavier than a cigarette butt will probably dent them, so be careful.
