Interviewer: Jeff... Jeff... Jeff... Can you introduce your Moto Guzzi?
Jeff: sure, in Mandarin or English?
Interviewer: errr... Mandarin.. (filler words)
Jeff: .... Mandarin... This bike is one of the few registered Moto Guzzi in Taiwan, made in Italy. Like Ducati, it is one of the few renowned motorcycle factories in Italy.
This is a 96 Sport 1100, personally I ever...errr.... this is not a fast bike but has many unique features which I am going to introduce to you guys.
This manufacturer is well known for it's engine, it is a V-twin but different from Harley Davidson, it's V-twin is mounted across instead of longitudinal. It was designed in such a way because of (engine) cooling, the protruding engine (cylinders) has better heat dissipating efficiency.
Another renowned feature of Moto Guzzi is it's chassis/frame, the chassis is called "Spine" chassis. Why is it called "Spine" because it resembled the human spines. The engine is like a V shape and it (spine) runs along the center (between the cylinders). So it's "Spine" chassis is quite well known among the enthusiasts.
Well... the riding impression... actually this engine was made for agricultural machinery, so it is like a locomotive but an agile locomotive.
Well... the modifications that I did on this bike are.... firstly, the head cowl, normal Sport 1100 head cowl doesn't come with round light, the head cowl (light) is square shape, trapezoidal.
I modified it to round head cowl because I like cafe racer, just like the later LeMans.
Also, I custom made the ohlins forks and the triple tree, the fender bracket is custom made too.
Rear shock is ohlins too, this part is custom build by ohlins because this bike is very rare.
Interviewer: Verrry beautifulllll... yeah... thank you everyone, this time, Jeff's Moto Guzzi
End.
