I think the stewardesses are aging along with the rest of the population. It has been a while since I have seen one worth embarrassing myself over. Also, I do not drink while on a plane.

I understand why you feel this way. Try first class, it's actually quite a bit better. The Airlines are improving their services albeit slowly. As an example AA is trying to reinvent themselves and the difference between the new product and the old is like night and day. Fly on a new bird with fresh flight attendants and it's actually a pleasant experience. Take an old MD80 with 40 year embittered stewardesses and the ride can be quite abrasive.

Use the word Stewardess and you`ll be lucky to get your bag of peanuts. That description was retired over 20 years ago, and you will be pretty much ignored if you use it.
