Is Zhōngguó Gōngyè Hézuò Shè the source for "gung ho"?  What's a valid shortening of the phrase and how should it be pronounced?  Thanks for your multi-literacy!

While living in Spain, I offered to fix the translation for a bicycle shop trying to market bike tours to Americans. Unfortunately my attempt to help was viewed as an insult to their ability in english.
They think they are doing fine. At least these guys.
From this experience I learned to always compliment a Spaniard's english, of which they are quite proud, unless they ask.
I would guess that it would be a similar experience in some places in Italy.
