Hi Folks, are new clutch /brake levers ))available for the 85 LM 1000 ? I have not seen any listed at the usual suspects websites, and am curious if those parts are unobtanium?
Thanks Rick.

The lever dioesn't seem to be available separately - Stein-Dinse lists the complete clutch lever with perch assy. for 125 E, but the brake side is NLA.

You might get lucky at a Japanese dealer.  You have to invest the time comparing if they have aftermarket ones on a rack.

Rick,
Are you looking for the levers only? I believe I have a complete used brake side assembly on the shelf. Let me take a look in the morning and I'll shoot you an image if you'd like. I'd probably let it go as parts or as the assembly, whichever you prefer, and at a good price.
No luck from me on the clutch side.

Thanks for the suggestions , Guys. LeRoy, I actually am looking for the clutch lever, the one that came with the bike has the ball on the end missing......undoub tedly caused by the infamous folding sidestand, on these bikes.
Thank you, Rick.

The levers were also used on the Lario, SP II and T5 among others. Checks with Harper's - they may have used. S-D is the only source I've found for new.

Thanks Charlie. I have never ordered from Stein Dinse direct. Are they pretty easy to work with, and are the parts shipped fairly fast?
Thanks again,
Rick.

It's been awhile since I've ordered from them.  No problems with ordering and getting what you order.

I'm looking for a dog leg clutch lever for my `77 Convert.  Have 1 on my `81 CX100 but I think it was aftermarket and is NLA.  Don't care what brand bike it's off of as long as it fits.  Any help is appreciated.

Thank you Curtis, and ccoli, I appreciate the responses. I found a clutch lever yesterday, and bought it. It was a new old stock one that popped up on ebay with the perch for 60 bux. Its good to know some replacements are still available!  ....Now if I could just find a set of those  sexy, batwing front turn signals.......
