V7 Stone and Special - killer deals on left overs with free shipping and no fees

How can any of this make a significant difference in the real world riding of the V7?
Let me know when world championship points are awarded for street riding. 

17 or 18 inch wheels?  38 or 40 hp?  Yea, I know the difference but does it really matter?  We'll all be dead one day and let's not hope things like this are what we carry to the grave!

BTW-it's a great deal on a great bike.  If I didn't already have mine I'd be all over it.

Having spent some time riding a V7C and my V7 Stone back-to-back, I'll say that the difference in the motors is bigger than 2-3 peak hp, it's one of torque band and feel and it's significant enough that I prefer the later, not that I think there's a problem with the former.

All I know is this little bike is an ace.  Commuted the 17 miles to work this morning in single digit weather.  Not hickup nor complaint.  Purred right along.

A perceptive person might realize the rest of the content was a discussion of relative merits which might be equated with relative value and THAT speaks directly to the original topic.

For comparison, in June I sold my '13 Stone with 12K miles on it, off warranty, with only a few 100 miles left on the tires, for $6000.  I'd say you got a good deal.

Awesome freaking deal, man....smart move.  If I didn't already sell mine due to it being a tad to cramped for me I would be all over it adding another to the stable at that price.

As it was, Tuesday I pick up my V7 II Stone in that cool silvery-gray color.  I, too, got a good deal by getting top dollar for my trade-in bike, so my OTD price was $5K.  I am terrible excited to pick her up!

Oh come on ....the rest of the content was a discussion of no merit ...the thread was the deal that was offered not anything else .Simply yes its a good deal or not , with encouragement if warranted or the other way.

It's called a conversation not a dissertation.

It doesn't have to stay religiously on topic (as you've now proven by straying further than anyone before you).

But I stand by my assertion that a related discussion of the relative merits of the bike in question helps put in context whether or not the OP was in fact a "deal". If you can get a used older model cheaper with features or characteristics you prefer, then it's no deal.
