Ridiculous.. I'd be looking for a Corvair to park there if they want a real fire hazard.

Oh Hell yes! my first car was a forest green  , 1963 corvair that had a heater that burned gasoline from the fuel tank to heat the interior of the car! It worked well, as far as heat output, but would stink up the car interior. talk about a fire hazard!!
Sorry about the thread drift......

Just to be clear, none of the residents in my building complained, I get on well with them. It as the parking Nazzi who lives in a different building. I have a friend on strata who keeps me informed and has deflected a few before, like the time I parked in one of the other buildings instead of leaving the bikes out in the weather while they washed the garage, that drove him nuts. He's a control freak of questionable orientation if you know what I mean.
He'll keep.

They old guard have effectively kept me out of the Hobby room for 12 years, I took a bike in there once to change the wheels, they slapped a lock on it pretty quick.

This whole thing would have me seeing red.

What's the "Hobby Room"?

And out of curiosity are there specific covenants/regulations regarding performing repairs in your parking area?
