I thought he was going to start manufacturing again.

He's retired, doubt he'll set up a shop again. There are no "patterns" as such, though there likely is a CNC program.

If his manufacturing and production was enough to pay for his grandchildren's college, do you really think he would have packed it in?  If you want to make him a huge offer, his contact info is no secret.  Hell, I'll broker the deal for a small commission from the buyer.

I have a set of his head guards , and a choke lever on my Le Mans. The tiny choke lever, with the Guzzi eagle engraved in it is a real work of art!

There isn't enough economy of scale to make any money making Guzzi stuff.

Joe made starter adapters (allowed fitment of VW TDI starters onto VW T2 and T3/Vanagon transmissions) for my brother. When Joe retired, my brother bought the CNC program and took it to a local machinist. Instead of using the program, he "reverse engineered" the adapter and even improved upon it.

Joe never had any kids or grandkids, but he retired and moved to PA.
He's not doing any machine work at this time, but I'd sure like a pair of head guards for a Jackal I'm considering if he has any leftovers:doubtful.
