Ugly and uncomfortable looking and a stupid commercial that shows you nothing and tells you less IMHO.

Def a bike for the "look at me" crowd.

I've ridden a diavel and I remember it was very uncomfortable in the testes department. Didn't feel anywhere near as fun as the B11 does.

None of those trick Ducatis were are the Cycle World SHow in Dallas.  I was disappointed with Ducati.  Half the exhibit was Scramblers and the other half was current run of street bikes.

Nothing new this year.

Similar?  Sure.  It is interesting though how certain subtle styling cues can make or break a bike.  I'd take the MV over the Duc any day.

I am sorry O , both look too busy and a bit buggish . Just my humble opinion of course , but both feature a humped tank , a prominent sliver of trellis frame , highlighted clutches , solo seat , hugger rear fenders , etc .

I completely "get" it.

Looking at the Diavel when it came out my very first thought was that a rider of this motor has his feet in the wrong place to really take advantage of it.

I figured the Diavel should have been carved into the type of bike that we had in the 80's; that is, the Madura, Magna and my favorite - the Kawasaki Eliminator. Of course today, we yet have the soul survivor of those faux-dragsters in the still stunning V-Max and a recent entry of the Harley V-Rod - which brings to mind how testes Harley can get when their image is trod upon or mimicked, but, I digress...

While this Ducati is a bit too, I get the goal of going toe-to-toe with a V-Max or V-Rod and their ilk.

Stop light to stop light on a Ducati?... I get it.

The Ducati looks like an assemblage of bits they had laying around.
The MV looks good, if somewhat uncomfortable. Not sure about the exhaust though. :undecided:

For us geezers, how long do you think your back would hold out with that riding position?  50 miles on a very smooth road?  Having owned a Ducati Monster, a 300-mile day on one was an exercise in agony and that was nearly 20 years ago.
