OK fellas , let's not crash this thread into the wall of politics . Thanks .

 Dusty

Perhaps we can best take hold of this event in the form of an opportunity.

To get past the bickering over the usage and meanings of BC/AD not to mention Christian sub-sets... to bypass the likely future debates of the utilitarianism of the Hijri Calendar and to finally ward off, once and for all, those pesky Zodiatricians we might all agree on a "New Age". One marked by the passing of refined nudity or

PORN.

As in; the next American President after BHObama was elected in 1 PORN or PORN 1 as it were.

Something constructive should come of this seminal event!

People, I implore you, pull together to mark this passing!

IMHO it's not becoming PC, they are just looking for more profit.  Not politics or anything like that.

Magazines in general are having horrible problems due to the internet.  Why pay for a magazine that carries "old" news when you can get the same info for free on the web?

Today.  Instead of in three months.

It's why the motorcycle mags are so irrelevant today...

Whats with Cycle World? I reupped when I got a card that said 5 bucks for one year, 6 bucks for two years. Not worth the paper its printed on. Where are the performance numbers? Must be published by the same outfit that does Playboy.

They're evolving with the times, porn is free nowdays, especially with women sharing naked pictures with their boyfriends on cell phones, who then proceed to share them with the rest of the world... Playboy has always been about the content and the shock value of the nude no longer holds any value. They're just adjusting to the times so they can sell more magazines. Most porn actors dream of making it in the real movie industry instead of being seen as a piece of meat, I see the same thing happening here with the magazine. They want to be taken seriously.

Was it in Dubai where you could buy Playboy but only hand censored by the religious police who painstakingly cut out all the rude bits with scissors before I could be considered fit for the shelf? That's at least one guy out of a job then?

Virtual Girls are the next big thing I think.

I saw a headline about a virtual headset and... and... er 'attachments' that would interface with a sex program/game system, and it was "flying off the shelves"! You'll now be able to go blind in 3D!

This new fangled technology is stifling creativity for sure. I used to intercept my dad's Playboy delivery as I was able to get to the mailbox after school and before he got home from work. Back in the day they were delivered with a paper cover that was open on the ends. I was able to slide the mag out and enjoy it for a few days and then slide it back into the paper cover and put it back into the mail box.
I'd much rather ask for forgiveness than ask for permission.

Yeah - Heaven forbid men enjoy and appreciate the female form lest some tissue-skin label it objectifying.

Around these parts - there've been many a "man" in the past posting here who'd likely cry foul at fellas engaging in a titillating thread such as this... It ain't just the women who gripe. 'Sides, hasn't Playboy been run by a gal lo these many years? Perhaps I'm thinking of the other one.

Todd.

Yes, it was/is Playboy. She's Hef's daughter

Haven't really cared since their decline in all things femi-oo-la-la... That being the post Barbie Benton era!

All down hill for me since, though not including,... her.

Todd.

Ah... Barbi Benton. Now there's a memory. Ran into her on the floor of an Atlantic City casino back in the day. (Well I say that I ran into her, she might say she was stalked. Tomato - Tomahto) She was wearing an all white tennis outfit and she was gliding past me. One of those slow-motion scenes where I  was speechless and frozen. Noticed two things. 1. She is very short. 2. She was more beautiful in person than in the magazine pictorials.
