Malik,
I see you have those cafe bars, and your bike seems to be ready for some serious hauling with all that cargo... how  do you feel after riding for a while on those bars? Do you ever feel bothered in the wrists or back or anything? My Classic had Ace Clubman bars on it, but I switched back to stock because I plan on doing a lot of touring.

I removed the screen because it put the wind to the visor, then I installed the rear sets, so I could lean into the wind a little. So far so good. Then after a couple of months riding the 1100 Sport in NZ (perfect for long distance for me) I tried out the Laverda style multi-adjustable bars from Raask. It took a fair bit of adjustment - I'd set them up, then ride 500 km to test the fit, then again, and again, until I could ride all day with no issues - back & neck straight, (so no muscle pain at days end) and no weight on the wrists - weight is supported by feet, thighs & stomach. Now fine for 500 to 800 km days, day in, day out. I have a similar set up on the Special, but with the Tarozzi clip ons that came with it when I bought it. Also good for 500 to 800 km days. And I now have my luggage down to around 35 kg all up - camping stuff, stoves & wok, tools & spares. Nothing like touring on an 1100 Sport to teach you how pack efficiently.

With the standard bars, I found the cafe seat more comfortable than the standard dual seat. But with the rear sets & low bars, it doesn't actually make much difference which seat I use, though I do slightly prefer the cafe seat.

The only thing I find the low bars & rear sets not so good as the stock set up is for long days on dirt.

Sorry! I think I got the last one offered years ago on Ebay. It was part of a promotion, that attached the blister pack containing a small model to the front of a Italian or Brit motorcycle magazine.

Is there a brand or manufacturer stamped or molded on the bottom? I'll just have to keep my eye out for one for the rest of my life then :D

Had it since 2013. Picked it up from a dealer in NH with 1400 on the odo. Have put about 6k more on since then and bike has been spot on. Only add on's have been Dart Marlin screen and a GPS. Here's a better pic with it's big brother from another mother:

No longer online or in business I guess. They had specialized in a line of promotional "giveaways" and many 1:43 scale resin models were made in China and shipped to Italy. I searched but havent found the orginal source yet. Good luck!

It would be nice to have a big model kit for that bike. There are a bunch of other kits of other brands or older Guzzi models, but none for the latest models.

Here is my 14 Racer. My favorite bike to date and 2nd Guzzi. Love size, weight, style. Perfect power for my needs. Said I'd leave this exactly stock. Kind of did with slight adjustments. CRG Arrow mirrors. Black side panels. Just like the look better and removed the 7's. Adding the polished fenders. Receiving them Monday. Want new exhaust just not sure what I want yet.

Jas - that's a dapper ride!!! I love the flow of chrome from front to back, very nice!

Ponti - The Racer is the polished, well-dressed gentleman of V7's, and I love them. Replacing the front number fairing with the MG logo was a good call, very nice. For what it's worth, the dealer installed Emgo Slashcut exhaust on my bike and drilled 10 holes into the baffles - the sound is, to me, phenomenal. Of course personal taste varies, but here's a link to a video my dealer made of a Racer with the same exhaust that my Classic is equipped with so you can have a listen. For me, the sound is pure sex :)

Nicely done Bob!
Check out the La Franconi's, best I've heard on this bike.nice deep boom. The 70 Tre scrambler pipes have a nice snarl also.

Do you know if the Lafranconis require an ECU reflash?  I put Mistrals on my old V11 sport without a hitch. Hoping to do the same. Will check them out. Thx!

No, ECU will compensate. You will have to use stock exhaust gasket.  May have a little pop on decel. I have seen two V7's with them and they sound great.
