What's on the agenda? Rides on both days?

I'm hoping to come up for this. Camping in Cottonwood at the right time of year is awesome.

Better grey eagles than bald eagles!

Usually people make arrangements to meet up as they ride in on Friday, Saturday is ride where you will with friends, Sunday is ride out with friends and gradually disperse as your paths split. Sometimes people show up early or stick around late to stretch the riding time...

Oh yes, it's a total Guzzi Geezer festival for sure, rolleyes:   but a great group of people!!

However, that being said, there are a lot of beautiful, local rides in an around the area - Jerome, Old Town Cottonwood, Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon, Flagstaff, Prescott. 

Rides will be going on both Friday and Saturday.  May is a beautiful time of the year in and around the Verde Valley.

The camping area in is 5 minutes from the View Motel and is excellent.

Ah...well she won't be participating this year in Cedar Vale...too long of a ride for her!  Slowly...maybe next year!  She can do 300 miles but 630 would be too much!

How much time is spent @ the motel vs. riding?   At this point in my life I'm more into BSing once I get to the destination than riding some more, especially if I show up on my Convert.  It isn't exactly a corner carver.

I suspect there will be more than enough of both depending on anyone's particular interests!

I made there of those flags, but that one was the biggest. The first one, smaller,  I gave to German Guzzi  club on my first trip to Europe. The second one i still have.

I gave that one and all the Guzzi club stuff to Carl Aĺlison before I moved to Germany. I paid for the camping place,too, for the first NAR., before I left.

It pleases me to no end to see it proudly flying again in Arizona ☺☺

No worries...there is a lot of MAJOR soap-boxing...tire-kicking....story-telling...and BSing going on at the hotel at our N.A.R.!    People can choose to do whatever they like...go for a ride...or just sit around...relaxing.. .bonding with other Guzzisti...and just "chewing the fat!"

I'd like to but family commitments might be in the way.  I'd have check on dates.  If not, Datil, NM instead.  I have to hire 3 people and train them.  Something called work.

Yes, WORK always gets in the way doesn't it?!? I know the drill...with my travel schedule, I am lucky to make Cottonwood AND Datil, NM this year - - but I will schedule both!! :1:

Another point of consideration would be the kid going off to U Nev. Reno or Cal. State Northridge.  I'd escort him to be on campus in the fall.  He wanted to stay in the West.
