Norge @ 99,999
« on: February 09, 2016, 04:40:37 PM »
Hi, my Norge has 92,000 km and I'm wondering does anyone know if the odometer has a 6 digit capability or does it re set to zero and start again when it reaches 99,999 ? I thought I read something about this issue a few years ago. Incidentally, it probably is irrelevant but mine's a 2007.

Yeah, I know, but I figgured that if it would count past 100000 miles, it would do it in that sissy metric stuff, easy.  :boozing:

My Norge odometer shows 321,000. Miles. But the bike is actually at about 48K. They have 6 digits no problem.

The V7 Classic odometer is supposed to go up to 199,999 ks, then stop. I enquired once I hit 100,000 km. Of course it doesn't make sense.

So does the motorbike stop at 199,999 klicks , or just the odo ?

Wonder why it won't read 200,000 klicks ?

Thanks for the interest. Bike's being shipped to UK in about 3 weeks for another trip to Nordkapp and then through Sweden and down through Germany, Italy and down to Sicily. No doubt it will click over on that trip so I guess I'll find out somewhere along the road. :bike-037:

Doesn't make sense to me either.

A co-worker hit 300k miles on his 2003 Prius.    The odometer stopped precisely at 299,999.9.
That is obviously a stupid software limitation.

The amazing thing though, is that the original batteries are still working well.

People have been worrying about Prius drive batteries since the cars first came out.  The batteries don't seem to be listening, they keep on working.
