A gathering of geese (okay, the feathered kind)

Did about 430 miles round trip today hauling the Norge to Harpers for the roller job. When I returned home this evening the geese were around again. These shots were taken this evening from my deck. The geese like my wheat. That's okay as the wheat is healthy this year and their grazing won't hurt it and they will leave some fertilizer.

I had a microhouse in a friend's backyard. Friend had a goose. That lousy bird would cheap shot me and anyone else he could get to.

Recently has this little guy about 250 yards behind my house. Dawn on a cloudy morning with telephoto did not help the picture quality but you get the idea.

The little winged park terrorists made their twice annual way through here recently.

I think all those soft-hearts down Scottsdale have created an "entitled class" out of them when they're here.

Never wear laces around them - I swear, they're trying to tie our shoes together!

Sure are pretty though.

The Canada goose has reached epidemic proportions in our high country here. Once they foul (or should it be fowl ) a pasture the stock won't eat it. They have annual goose shoots to try to keep the numbers in check but the numbers still seem to be increasing.
