Sitting here in front of the computer, listening to an old Dylan piece of vinyl. "Slow Train Coming." I think this was recorded when Dylan decided to go religious. I bought it at least 30 years ago, and didn't play it too much .... didn't sound much like the Dylan I'd remembered from previous years.
Maybe that was a good thing! The old 33 1/3 album probably sounds as good today as it did in the early 1980s. I had my entry level Pioneer brought back to life with a new amp power supply, a rebuild of the Eclipse speakers, and thoroughly enjoy listening to some of this old vinyl.
Got the logs burning in the fireplace, Dylan on the turntable, a glass of red.
Life is good on a Saturday night!
