80 MPH.  Deer jumped over guard rail right as I was coming out of a  curve. Brake lever covered, but guess I was looking through curve to exit and didn't even have time to squeeze.  It was like "deer, bang!".  Flew over the front of bike and tumbled to a stop. Landed on the side of my head and shoulder, bounced then grabbed knees to tuck and tumble.  Deer dead, bike totaled, I walked away sore but uninjured.

Same curve I hit a dog and went down about 28 years earlier.
The best part of riding a motorcycle is to tilt the horizon and to lift the front coming out of a corner and to drift the back end powering thru loose dirt and to catch a little air topping a hill and... yeah it's all good!

Country road, deer jumped in front of me going around 60mph, and it happened in a blink and fortunately I was wearing my Stich so I didn't get hurt at all.  I guess that ABS would have helped, but hard to say.

Crashed another time but that was in the rain and I assume diesel fuel was on the road because I went down the second I touched the brake. Once again, wearing my Stich and no damage to myself but it was distressing watching the bike slide down Park Ave. through a red light and miraculously not get hit. I don't think ABS would have helped in that one given the diesel fuel.

Labor day weekend 1964 Sedalia mile.  120+  Three bike low side Wipeout due to a broken straw bale that a rider just ahead of us hit but he recovered and didn't go down .  Nobody hurt.

ABS ??   Sorry, No Brakes allowed

5 mph. Driveway. A cat and a truck were involved.  Pretty boring in the context of this thread.  Speaking of cats, some of you guys and gals have 9 lives. Shoot.
