Some pics from when I repaired the phase sensor leak last year. Also had leaky left valve cover gasket which was replaced same day.
Note: I had posted a note on WG about going in from the top, which I think would have required air box removal (?) I mentioned this on WG, and immediately received a phone call from one of our fine Midwest dealers, who suggested it would be easier if I was to go in from the side by removing the left header pipe. This gentleman indicated he would send me the appropriate parts in that day's mail to fix the sensor leak, and to reassemble the exhaust header.

SHIM STACK (AS I RECALL)
Could someone that knows comment on the shim stack under the sensor? I initially thought it was one solid piece of aluminum, but as I recall, it was a stack made up of several very thin shims. It appears I removed the breather hose mounting fixture for better access, too.
