1st and only other owner was not the person you mentioned...he kept meticulous records...MGNOC sticker is from my membership...I had/have this silly wild fantasy that I would/can ride to the National in John Day so I joined the Owner's Club...I do enjoy the newsletter...

There is a chance I might make it to John Day...possibly approaching 50% when before I thought it was at zero...will see how the cards line up here in about a month...

1.  Chris told me the Check Engine Light cured itself (to my relief, I had some guilt pains).

No doubt!  I've played with multiple routes already in the event I can make it...

1st stop like I did it the last time from Houston to Canada was Luckenbach...

After that, it's up towards Palo Duro, cross cross into Northern New Mexico, cut the corner near Durango...up to Moab, across the top to the Snake River...up thru Sun Valley, and then somehow across to John Day...either on the way there or the way back thru Lolo Pass...and then whatever other twisty route grabs the Norge's attention!!
