  This is just a few miles from me. Ad says clutch slips, replacing the clutch myself is no problem...But seems odd the clutch slips after only 4300 miles...Could be adjustment but I have a feeling the seller checked the easy stuff...Any engine issues with this model?

Doesn't make sense that the clutch is slipping unless it's had the common broken odometer and has a lot more miles on it.  Or, it's been abused...  I pulled a trailer 2-up with my V11 Lemans and the clutch lasted to 45,000 miles.

2004 was the last year of these in The USA.  2003 and 2004 V11 Sport/LeMans were well sorted at the factory with few issues.  And, they're really nice SPORT-touring machines!

-Odometer in the ITI speedo goes bad.
-Shift return spring can break.

All the 2003 and 2004 bikes were dual-plate clutch.

Also, "Café Sport" was Ohlins-equipped.  This is a basic V11 Sport.

fairing, ugly not stock, check front crossover for cracks..handlebars might not be stock,  looks like it has a Ohlins shock res on side, so if it is a Cafe it should O forks too. wonder if it got crashed and rebuilt? and repainted, (too Bad).

Ditto on the paint. I think some bits have been changed-the front fender and fairing should be CF. The forks shown are Marzocchi. Should be Ohlins. The Euro Titanium map works great in mine. The stock one was, well, rough and erratic at idle. They all had dual platers. No issues for me. Offer 3.

The base 2004 V11 Sport had clipons, black Marzocchi forks and painted plastic front fender.

Yes.  Forgot about the front crossover.  Not so much a cracking issue, but the gaskets go bad.

Marzocchi forks, Ohlins shock, tubular handlebars.  Something is not right.

Café Sport should have Ohlins forks.  Ballabio had Marzocchi forks, but should not have an Ohlins shock.

I'm not seeing the factory gauge package, either.  Makes one wonder if it's been wrecked...

That looks like a repaint.  I don't recall red being available in 2002, but it was in 2003. 

However, it was a two-tone job.  The one you posted isn't quite right on the color, and too much red:

 I didn't look either....In NY the correct term is Rebuilt Salvage....That can be a wreck or just a theft recovery....To get a salvage title upgraded to rebuilt the vehicle is inspected in a dedicated state facility. They look for "proper" repairs and to make sure non of the parts are stolen or suspect...
  The bike could be a fine machine but I won't touch it because the rebuilt title is like leprosy if you want to sell the bike at a later date.

Yeah, it's a bitsa all right. I'd say the rear of the bike is a cafe sport that was crashed hard, losing the forks, instruments, etc.
V11 sports don't crash well. If I were interested, I'd look closely at the pork chops, spine, engine and transmission mounts for cracks.

Was for sale last year .
Old AD stated the bike crashed and that's why the front fork was swapped and that's why that "custom" paint job.

The green one does appear to have started life as a Cafe Sport - but it's stretch to call it that today. It does have the Ohlins steering damper, and it does appear to have the bronze/brown color on the porkchops and wheels that was exclusive to the Cafe Sport. I think that bike (pending inspection) is a $2,000-$2,500 bike for someone who just wants to ride and doesn't care about originality. I do like the Tenni Green on it.

I think the red 2002 LeMans probably started as a red and grey two-tone. I've swapped to a red tail on my 2003 LeMans. That red hugger fender.... goodness, it's garish, gaudy, gross... to each their own.

That's awful, isn't it.  Beauty *is* in the hand of the beerholder. Now, Lucky Phil thinks my Gaudy Gaiters (tm) on the Aero Lario are in the same league.
