All are welcome to this celebration of the unapproachable Norton motorcycle. Pre-1983 vintage bike parking area and prestigious Norton row. All makes of motorcycles welcome.

Though it is a Norton Gathering, all vintage bikes are welcome, and they indeed to draw quite a number of them.

My dual sport riding plans for today got crushed by a dead battery, so, I'm going to do my chores today, and ride the V7 Special out to this tomorrow.

I was thinking about riding the R75/5 so I can park in the vintage bike parking, but, I've got a brand new set of Ikon shocks for the V7S, so, it will be way more comfortable, as the shocks currently on the R75/5 are worse than the stock V7 shocks, and it is a 2 1/2 hour ride each way.   Plus, with a low of 35 tonight, I might want heated gear in the morning, which the old /5 with its stock alternator doesn't have the juice to power.

So, in any case, if anyone coming from Central PA, or other points west wants to meet up and ride out together let me know.    Also, let me know if you'll be there, and I'll look for you.

Although there will be many Nortons and other Brit bikes, Triumphs, BSA , Greeves and a Vincent  or three, you will also see a wide array of rare and obscure Euro machines as well, like Morini's, DKW, Ducatis and Guzzi's. 

Probably more Guzzi's along the Delaware river, than at some Rallies!

I have Nortons as well as Guzzi's, Guzzi's are just well sorted Nortons! A survey in our branch of the Norton club a few years ago revealed around 3/4 of the guys had Guzzi's as well

LOL!    I haven't had any Brit bikes yet.    I'd have to say if I was to buy one, it'd have to be the new Thruxton R!

But, who knows what I might end up buying.    For now though, I'm still in a sell mode, and not looking to buy anything for a while.
