After Pete handed bike back to me I have covered around 3000 kms since then. At 1000km (post Roller) did an oil change and checked clearances, left side a fraction looser than right - RHS close to specs. TPS 4.6 and CO2 around the 12 mark. Bike pulling like a locomotive with a 'different' feel to the rumble around 3-4k rpm from pre-roller days.
At around 3000kms noticed idle lower than usual with an occassional slight 'mis-timed' feel, put the PC/GuzziDiag back on and checked TPS, was 4.6 .. CO2 +12 .. took CO2 down to +4, idle worse ... bumped CO2 up slowly and for the moment left it at +28 where idle is regular and exhaust has a 'fuller' sound .. was sounding a bit soft before... If I understand this correctly I have enrichened the idle? More CO2 in the exhaust = richer, less CO2 = leaner?
Riding bike after this has made an immediate improvement from 1000-3500 rpm, is mechanically (maybe) a little quieter, throttle response off idle is tad brisker and stronger. The fuel usage calculation shows I am using a tad more fuel in cruise .. maybe the mixture was running a bit on the weak side with CO2 at +12?
A very HAPPY Norge pilot loving his Guzzi.
Replaced both front and rear tyres at the same time - first ride and nearly dropped the thing on a tight slow speed corner - bike is so responsive that oval tyres lacking a flat spot like older tyres tries to make the road climb up that oval profile!
