And I like the "slide down the road, roll over and put your hands up" move - never done that one myself.

Might have something to do with an excited, better rider than you with a gun shouting something sort of spanish-like but not exactly.

The cop(s) in the video seem to be very skilled riders, but some of them weren't wearing gloves or even long sleeves.

Unlike most countries, I wonder if their motor cops are dedicated to traffic enforcement of other motorcycles?

I haven't noticed recently, but not too long ago the local motor police cruised the streets in short sleeves, in what passes for summer here in the Seattle area.  Never without boots, though.

On my first trip to Sao Paulo my Brazilian colleagues warned me about walking on the street carrying a brief case.  It's common for thieves to go by on a motorcycle and snatch brief cases and purses.

Small motorcycles are everywhere in that city.  Once on the 20 mile ride to the airport I counted the number of bikes lane splitting past the car.  The total was 192!  My colleagues also claimed that 5 or 6 motorcyclists are killed every day in Sao Paulo.
