Lucky man.

Throw the first 16 gloves that you find around here onto the floor and you may have three matching pairs.

"Hey, what... where's your other glove?"

"I only needed one!"

You can guess at the applicable party's pronouns.

About a year ago I started to keep cloths pins everywhere. When I take off gloves that I may not use for a while, I clip them together.
I used to have a huge pile of mystery gloves beside my helmet. Now they are a little more under control.

Wear mismatched gloves, they go well with red suspenders.

But then you have to have mismatched socks and boots so
that you match!

I have Elkskin Ropers also and about 4 or 5 pairs of other gloves (including electric heated gloves) and find I always wear the Elkskins, but seriously, I wonder if they would really be very protective in a fall/crash; or would they just a a rare away?  Are gloves with hard plastic parts much better/safer even though they are ugly and not as comfortable?

when I crashed in ropers no rash but some really swollen knuckles, one might have been fractured.. 2 ribs were..
so yeah I've thought of finding something with armor but they will never be so comfortable.. I never get on the bike w/out them.. even just to the hardware store or gas station.. I'd wear them all day if I was a cowboy..

Riding, shooting, living out in the country requiring a lot of upkeep various gloves are a must. Our property has a lot of Osage Orange hedge. The wife bought me a pair of puncture resistance gloves which help a lot but still need to be careful. Concerning overall riding gloves, the wife gave me a pair of Aerostich Elkskin gloves.  :1:

Yeah but being a sailor I always wore the red sock on the left foot and the green sock on the right so I would know which way I was going.

Or a 5 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback.  Although I can't credit him with this morning's find.  One of my winter gauntlets under my night table.  I was looking for my glasses, hoping they weren't chewed up, and found the missing glove.

Somewhere in the house there's a glove & sock singles mixer.

The real question is "am I the only one with way to many (6+) left hand gloves and to few right hand gloves that I can't seem to throw away?"

Our off-sets nearly always come out to almost 50/50.

Tossing them out is tough since you assume that once you do, the errant glove will certainly show up.

Just like socks, shoes/boots or that second .45... That other one's got to show up eventually!

That would be no. In our infamous crash and burn  we slid for 50-60 feet on chip and seal. The *only* injury I had was where a knuckle burnt through on the Elkskin Ropers. I relegated them to yard duty, and won't ride without hard knuckle protection again.
YMMV, of course.
