Anyone on this forum riding up for D2D?
Haven't decided if I'll make the trip but would entertain a bbq and a free campsite just north of Whitehorse.

I just talked to my kid in Anchorage.  He's considering it as he does his spring maintenance.  The ferry schedule doesn't let me do it, so I'm headed to the national instead.

Want to do it, but will probably go next year with a couple of friends from work and then blast up the Dempster. The D2D looks like a blast. Take pictures if you go!

Did it on the Stelvio last year, and was planning to take the Ulysses this year, but a change of girlfriends has changed everything...spendi ng that time off with my new lady instead. Going next year instead on the Buell (having traded the Stelvio in on a Norge, it's the only choice now), and probably on up the Dalton.

I took the long way around in 2012, going Skagway -> Whitehorse -> Tok -Glenallen -> Chickaloon -> Anchorage -> Copper River Tetlin -> Chicken -> D2D -> Whitehorse -> Skagway.  For those who don't know the neighborhood, you can go  Skagway -> Whitehorse -> D2D -> Whitehorse -> Skagway, but it's not the same.
