I got some Loctite Premium Line polyurethane stuff. I was going to get some Shoe Goo but the anaerobic/aerobic thing changed my mind. Polyurethane because it'll flex. We'll see. I wasn't raised to throw stuff away if it's repairable. Hence Guzzi ownership of some old ones.
I do not think this will work on shoes/boots. Not all Polyurethane flexes. and I do not believe this will bond to leather and your midsole. I would do a test place and see if it holds. Note from the Loctite site they say it does not work water submersion which means walking in the rain will break this down. Your midsole on the boot is most likely made from a plastic foam which will not adhere to polypropylene, polyethylene. This will also go on too thick and walking will break down the glue and bond. When shoes/boot are made the glue is very thin. I can take a shoe and put too much glue when I put the out sole back on and it will not hold. Put up a picture of this boot.
