Same story here...  Retired and bought a new carry-over Norge (mine's a 2014 in white).  I made a few changes to make it fit me a bit better and am really liking it.  Not a hot rod but sneaky fast and it will be hard to maintain legal velocities!  Enjoy your new schedule and new ride!

I have wanted a Norge since they came out.  When Dave R at Moto International got the 2015's in at a great price I decided there was no reason to wait any longer!

So it's all mine now, 2015 Norge GT8V in Mahogany, or as some refer to - Espresso and Grappa.  Now all I have to do is figure out how to get it home; fly and ride, or have it shipped?  I really like the fly and drive concept but my schedule is limiting.

I retired 2 months ago, so this is my retirement present!

Congrats Dave ............ I have the same and will be making a dash to john day at the end of the month with fellow Guzzi pilots.

A really good sport tourer in my humble opinion.

Ciao

Great, Dave!
I hope you got some sleep. The excitement must have been like Christmas. Videos of the inaugural ride?

They arrived.  I guess I should confess!  Out of curiosity I asked Dave R what he could do for me on the 2015 V7 Special and found it too good to pass up.

I decided not to separate these two!  It's going to be a fun summer!

I have been able to ride both bikes a bit.  The V7 is hard to stay off of!  What a fun bike to ride!!!  The Norge isn't too shabby either.

Haul Bikes did a great job at a reasonable cost.  Bikes were picked up in Seattle at MI 6/1 and dropped off 6/14 Rockford, IL.

Quite the rig!!

Congratulations! I think they're a great pair. I like the V7 on some of the slower, winding roads and being able to switch to the Norge for higher speed, highway rides.

They do ride differently.  It can sort of screw with your head to get off on then onto the other for successive rides.

Wow, congrats!  Those are two gorgeous bikes, two of my favorite Guzzi color schemes of all time.  The V7 is classic and the Burgundy is just so unusual and classy looking.  Looks fantastic on the Norge.

It pains me to see the great deals that were available on those Norges, but I had one and it burned me and I cant go there again.  But they are such great bikes in so many ways, and the best looking sport tourers out there.  I hope you have many miles and many smiles...

What do you think of the Mahogany color on the Norge now that you've seen it in person??

Let me know when you'll be in Iowa.  Beer and cigars on me.  I live close to Cedar Rapids.

I've not gone far on the Corbin yet but I've had them on other bikes and got along just fine.  The stock seat seemed to cause me to work forward and I found myself having to keep moving back for comfort. Corbin sets me back a bit and I stay there.
First week in July I'll be visiting family and putting on some miles.

You'd asked about the Corbin for the Norge.  I have the identical saddle which I use for longer rides on the 1200 Sport.  Longest day to date for me was in 2013.  From Hudson OH to Northport MI in one day (475-500 miles.)  I was good for an additional 100+ miles, but ran out of land!  Perfect sport tourer for me, with Mana bars, HB rear rack, HB 30L Junior bags and mounts, adjustable foot pegs, and the Corbin saddle.  Handles beautifully on either PR3 or PR4 (better on the 4's.)
