Motorcycle names - how do they vary by continent?

Bagger, full dresser,  bobber, racer, cafĂ©, chopper, rat, tourer, adv'er...

What other names do folks on other continents use to describe their motos?

Any special names for Guzzi's of the same style - how do you call them?

Airhead, Oilhead, Knucklehead, Panhead, Ironhead  lots of heads its like we identify moto's buy their heads often in the states.

 I think the question is what the slang for a bagger or a sport bike is in France , or Istanbul ? Help us out Kirbster .

 Oh , in Oklahoma , which is almost a foreign country , we used to call dressers "garbage barges"  :laugh:

Moto's are often called my pet names in FR.
I called my first Ducati "Ble' pit" (something was always wrong with the thing)

My S2R is "Monique" (reminds me of someone I used to know).

It has been my experience that the same names we call our machines in the states the others use as well. There may be some colloquial slang but a bagger is a bagger etc. Often they will use the English word.
Having said that I don't think they call sport bikes "rice rockets" in asia or japan.

I'm guessing then that a BMW in Germany is not called a Cabbage (Kraut as in Sauerkraut) Rocket either.   But would it be Die Bimmer or Der Bimmer?   :grin: :grin:

My German is so bad I am sure I would use Der BEEMER (moto.)

I will keep my ears on for a good one.

I envy you guys going to Oregon...be careful its a jungle out there!
