My 5th Moto Guzzi - and one of the best!

Have all the new upgrade parts, (oil pump, brass bushings, steel timing gear, Will Creedon chip, etc.), just need to install them before the Datil, New Mexico rally in August.  Also - the Veglia tach died...but that's not a show stopper.

Yes, I have had since last August...and have logged over 1000 miles so far.

Again, it runs "very strong", and only the Veglia tach died so far...but I will get it fixed or get another tach.

Here it is among other Guzzi's at the Gathering of Eagles in Cottonwood, AZ earlier this month.

Also, some images from around my home in the Village of Oak Creek (Sedona, AZ), a few day before Cottonwood.  It is a BLAST to flog through the canyons!

Next big Road Trip...the 25th Annual New Mexico Rally in Datil in mid-August.

Sweet machine man. Now go run the s%*t out of it!  :thumb:

When I rode the bike back from Tucson to Phoenix, (about 130+ miles), last August, in the 100+ degree heat, I DID run the snot out of it, exceeding the ton multiple times, and it ran hard and strong.

Then, I started reading about "exploding timing gear / oil pump issues", etc., and so I bought all the parts, so I have been taking it easy the last few hundred miles until I install everything.

It only has 7500 original miles on it, so I am sure its fine, but the last thing I want is the engine to implode, and then I am looking at a 550 pound paperweight!! :thumb:

Again, the only thing that has died in the last 1000 miles is the POS Veglia tach, which is not a show stopper!
