I trio of 8V's up on the Atherton tablelands of FNQ.

Taken by Justin, owner of one of the Sports. The other one belongs to my mate Peter and his offsider owns the Orange G8.

We ( in the US) really got shorted by not being on the sport list. What a lovely machine. Too bad those 8 vs are so unreliable. Even with toasted cams , trashed big ends, leaking carc's and incurable fueling problems they still manage to get us to the java depot. Nice pic , thank's pete.

If I was in the market for a 'Tourer' with a bigger tank than my G8 the Sport 1200-8V would be it. They really work well as a mile eater, are super comfy and have the best factory exhaust of any model. My G8, apart from its tank size, (Which is actually adequate as it gives me 300km unless I'm being stupid.) is now near perfect for me but I have four fork options and a pricey aftermarket shock to allow me to chase suspension nirvana! The stock forks and shock are OK but the springing and valuing is all over the place like a mad woman's poop! The 1200 Sport doesn't have the precision of a Griso bug it's pretty damned good and a fine ride.

Pete .... is suspension on the 4v 1200S much like suspension on 2v 12S?  If so, make my 4v in silver.
