1986 Lario v65 Head work - any new advice/sources?
« on: June 23, 2016, 05:23:56 PM »
It has been a while since anyone posted a Lario head rebuild on this board. I just bought a 1986 Lario (engine # 003546, 11,000 miles) that runs great, but I think it is completely stock, probably with the original 12 mm cam (if #003823 was the factory change over engine number).I am getting ready to pull the engine apart to see what I actually have.

Any new fixes; part suppliers/sources, or procedure documentation since the ones posted 2010 -2013? What has worked and what has not since the few restoration projects posted here?

Thank you for your time and experience.

Ace Malott just finished up my buddies Lario heads a few months back, damned that little booger runs better than it ever did before. Plus the peace of mind that she's not going to drop a valve!
